September 2017  |  Published in Latest News

REMINDER: the Prisoners Literature Project is appearing at not one, not two, but THREE different Bay Area events over the next couple of weeks:

1. We’re making a special guest appearance at Kiosk Fest 2017 – http://kioskfest.thegrandnewsstand.com/ – tomorrow, Friday Sept. 1st in San Francisco between 10am and 6pm. (It’s on Market between 4th St. & Embarcadero!)

2. We have a stall at the San Francisco Zine Fest – http://www.sfzinefest.org/ – on Sunday Sept. 3rd from 11am to 6pm. It’s in the County Fair building in Golden Gate Park, and will feature all kinds of awesome zines, arts and crafts!

3. Finally, on Saturday, Sept. 16th we’ll be at the Bay Area Anarchist Bookfair in Oakland – http://bayareaanarchistbookfair.com/ – from 10am to 6pm, alongside many other alternative booksellers and nonprofits.

At each event, we’ll be selling (some very good!) leftover books that we can’t send to prisoners, and using the proceeds for postage money, as well as handing out flyers and bookmarks. So come and check us out if you can….
