Just a quick note from the Prisoners Literature Project to wish everyone a very happy holiday and note our holiday hours.

Firstly, we’d like to thank everyone who has volunteered, donated, or otherwise helped us out this year. It’s been a record year both for donations and for books sent to prisoners, with an estimated 15,000 packages and 40,000 books being sent to needy U.S. prisoners during the year – an AMAZING total, and not possible without all of you!

Regarding the PLP’s holiday schedule – we will NOT be holding a volunteer meeting this Sunday (Dec. 25th), but we will be holding meetings next Wednesday (Dec. 28th) and also Sunday (Jan. 1st, 2017). Hope to see you there, & a Happy New Year to all.
