November 2016  |  Published in Latest News

howardzinnThe Prisoners Literature Project will be exhibiting at the Howard Zinn Book Fair this Sunday, December 4th in San Francisco. Come and say hi, buy some books we can’t pass on to prisoners, and check out the other exhibitors! (The Book Fair also has a special page on their site all about us.)

In case you’re not aware, The Howard Zinn Book Fair is “an annual celebration of People’s History, Past Present and Future. We gather together authors, zinesters, bloggers and publishers for a day of readings, panel discussions and workshops exploring the value of dissident histories towards building a better future. In the spirit of the late historian Howard Zinn we recognize the stories of the ways that everyday people have risen to propose a world beyond empires big and small.”

Also, it’s #givingtuesday today, so if you can help, you know what to do: http://www.prisonlit.org/donate/
